Tervetuloa englanninkieliseen osallistavan kaupunkisuunnittelun webinaariin 23.4. Webinaarissa kuullaan kiinnostavia esimerkkejä osallistavasta suunnittelusta sekä käytännön keinoista asukkaiden osallisuuden lisäämiseen erilaisissa projekteissa.

• Lotta Olsson from the city of Jönköping, Sweden will talk about how their participatory actions regarding the Jönköping bicycle action plan and how they chose to reach out to those who don’t usually show up at the regular meetings they arrange for the residents of Jönköping.
• Jon Aguirre Such from Paisaje Transversal, an urban planning agency in Madrid, will shed light on the ways they aim to return the decision-making to the public in a city where urbanization and neighbourhood change has been largely motivated by private interests.
• Pia Salmi from WSP Finland will introduce useful methods for citizen participation and how the responses and feedback from the citizens have been utilized in the planning processes.
• Anri Niskala from the city of Turku talks about on-line co-design and co-creation and communication technologies for modern civic participation.
• A short introduction on tools for digital participation based on the experiences in the the project HEAT – Participatory Urban Planning for Healthier Urban Communities
